Our Story

We didn't start Impactco because we got soft. We started it because we got smart.

After 20+ seasons on the mountain, one bad landing on a rail changed everything — a hip injury that took months to heal and nearly ended a lifetime on the board. Sitting on the sidelines watching everyone else ride was the real wake-up call: the sport wasn't the problem. Riding unprotected was.

So we built what we couldn't find — impact shorts tough enough for riders who still hit the park hard, still chase the steep lines, and still send it on every run, but who've learned that the guys who ride longest are the ones who protect themselves best.

This isn't gear for backing off. It's gear for riders who've been doing this long enough to know that the best trick is the one you walk away from — so you can hit it again tomorrow, and the season after that, and the one after that.

We're riders in our 40s and 50s, building for riders like us: still charging, just not stupid about it.
